Nicaragua Travel Adventures: Beach Lovers Tour
If you're looking for a relaxing getaway without too much excitement, then the Beach Lovers tour of Nicaragua is the tour for you. We will take you to enjoy not one ocean, but two: The Caribbean and the Pacific. In the Caribbean Ocean you will enjoy some of the most beautiful white sanded beaches, while on the Pacific you will have the unique opportunity to sunbathe on black sanded beaches due to volcanic ash.
Day 1: Your journey begins with your arrival to Managua, Nicaragua. You should plan to arrive at the airport (MGA) by 1:30pm where you will be met and greeted by your Eco Xpedition Tours leader. We will all then transfer on to a short 45 minute flight that will take us to Corn Island. Upon arrival we will then transfer to our eco friendly beach lodge. After check in and freshening up we will gather again for dinner. (D)
Day 2: After breakfast we will spend the morning on an island snorkeling tour. We will return to the lodge for lunch and then spend the afternoon exploring the island on horseback. You are then free to enjoy an evening on the beach at your leisure choosing to dine at any of the fine restaurants the island has to offer. (B, L)
Day 3: We will start off this day after breakfast with tubing and knee-boarding. Return for lunch and then in the afternoon we will take a bicycle tour of the island. Once again, you are free to enjoy an evening on the beach at your leisure choosing to dine at any of the fine restaurants the beach has to offer. (B, L)
Day 4: We depart after breakfast back to Managua by plane. After arriving in Managua we will transfer to San Juan del Sur. On the way we will stop for lunch in Masaya overlooking a panoramic view of Laguna de Masaya. Upon arrival in San Juan we will check into our private beach homes to settle in and refresh. We head into town for a dinner and a lively evening, with the majestic San Juan Bay sunset as a backdrop. (B)
Day 5: After enjoying breakfast in the comfort of our beach home we will depart for a sailing adventure. Return to town, refresh and head back to the city for another evening with the locals. (B, L)
Day 6: Today we will have breakfast and then take a short drive to the hills overlooking San Juan Bay and then off for an exhilarating canopy ride through the rain forest. We return to San Juan del Sur for lunch and then off to enjoy an afternoon of surfing and lessons at one of the most renowned surfing beaches in the area. We return to our lodge and you have the freedom to choose where to have dinner. (B)
Day 7: This morning enjoy the beach on your own. We will take off in the afternoon to Managua and will stop in on one of the towns on the way there for lunch. We will enjoy our farewell dinner in Managua with entertainment. (B)
Day 8: After breakfast we will transfer to the airport where we say our "despedidas". (B)
